Zapier integration

The ZodQR Zapier integration allows you to automate workflows by connecting your QR codes with various apps and services through Zapier. You can either trigger a workflow when QR code scanned, or generate QR code dynamically based on a Zapier action.

Zapier integration is available for Starter and Pro users.

Join with public invite

Zapier integration is currently in public beta. To use, please use this invitation link: https://zapier.com/developer/public-invite/233525/fe8d0bab5502482582805a0068fe813e/

What you can do with Zapier integration

With ZodQR Zapier integration, you can:

  • Trigger a Zapier workflow when your QR code gets scanned. For example, you can send a notification to Slack, or add a new row to Google Sheets whenever your QR code is scanned.
  • Generate a static QR code based on a Zapier action.
  • More features coming soon! We are planning to support more QR code types, more trigger events (e.g. when QR code created, updated or deleted), and more actions (e.g. update or delete QR code from Zapier).

Create a token

To use Zapier integration, you need to create a Zapier token for authentication:

  • From ZodQR dashboard, go to Integrations > Zapier tab
  • Click on "Generate new token" button
  • Copy the generated token, you will need it when setting up Zapier integration in the next step

Set up Zapier integration

  • Go to Zapier and create a new Zap
  • For the trigger, search for "ZodQR" and select it
  • Choose the trigger event you want (e.g. "QR code scanned")
  • Connect your ZodQR account by entering the Zapier token you generated in the previous step
  • Set up the trigger options (e.g. select the QR code you want to monitor for scans)
  • For the action, choose the app and action you want to perform when the trigger event occurs (e.g. send a message to Slack)
  • Connect the action app and set up the action options
  • Test your Zap and turn it on
  • Now, whenever your QR code gets scanned, the Zapier workflow will be triggered and the action you set up will be performed automatically!
